Hiroyuki Kono - President

Joined Neostella in May 2011 as the President after serving as a Executive Officer of Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. from 2010 where his responsibilities included being Joint Head of Public & Financial Institutions Group.
He has over 15 years of experience in global market and investment banking business at Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. and Fuji Securities Co., Ltd.

Hideyuki Mizuiwa - Executive Deputy President

Headed the establishment of Neostella from the beginning in February 2008 and is now responsible to operational management. Before joining this firm, he had over 7 years of experience in corporate planning at DIAM and Trust Bank.

Seiichiro Shimura - Managing Executive Officer

Participated in first conceptionalization of Neostella, following over 20 years experience in venture investment at the YED, which is the oldest existing Japanese venture-capital firm. He has extensive experience with involvement in more than 140 IPOs and also holds a world wide network venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.

Noritaka Gion - Executive Officer

Over 10 years in charge of venture-capital investment through the subsidiary of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company with involvement of more than 50 IPOs. He has wide and practical venture-capital experience and has a strong network of Japanese corporate investors. Fluent in English and Korean.

Hirotatsu Suzuki - Group Leader

Hirotatsu has 14 years of experience in the financial area with most of it devoted to investment in venture businesses. He currently focuses on technology area including semiconductors, mobile, communication, clean-tech and relative spaces. Prior to his join in Neostella Capital, Hirotatsu was involved with a business planning group at Hoya Corporation, a global optical glass manufacturer.

Hirofumi Moriyama - Senior Manager

Hirofumi started his career with Sanwa Bank Co., Ltd., now Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, handling commercial banking activity for a wide range of Japanese venture businesses for 12 years. Before joining Neostella Capital, Hirofumi was a stock listing activity investigation manager at Mizuho Securities.

Yuko Okimoto, PhD - Senior Manager

Yuko joined NeoStella Capital in July 2008 following four years with Mizuho Securities during which time she primarily handled investments in biotechnology companies. Before moving into the financial arena, Yuko worked as an editor for a periodical publication covering biotechnology after earning her PhD degree in chemistry from The University of Tokyo.
